The Research Groups in
In 2000, after the visit by Prof. P. Santangelo and Prof.
The following research groups have been established to cooperate in the
ambit of the Project:
Research title: A Research on emotion and state of mind in "Serat
Lebdatama"
Serat Lebdatama (SL), was composed by Raden Purwasuwignya. It is a
collection of fairy tales, which are an adaptation from West fairy tale. There
was no information about the date of composition. The language of SL text is
Javanese, precisely Modern Javanese (from the 18 th century until now). SL consists of two volumes.
The first volume contents two stories, Watu Penithikan (The Magic Matches) and Bencok,
Walang lan
Pethak (Frog, Grasshoper,
and Greenflies). The second volume contents three stories, Cariyosipun
Kenya Bajang (The Small Girl Story) and Jin Estri (Princess of Genie).

Research: The Mad Man's Diary (Kuang ren riji) by Lu Xun in Mandarin.

Contacts have been established with the Institute of Anthropology and
Sociology of Universiti Kebangsaan
Melayu in Kuala Lumpur, Prof. Amir Baharuddin Shamsul, Director of
the Institute of the Malay World and Civilization, with the cooperation of Dr. Zaidah Mustapha, is organizing a research group for the
analysis of Malay sources, on the basis of the database prepared by Naples
Headquarters and revised by Dr. Zaidah Mustapha.
